Dubai Movers & Packing — Fixed Quotes, No Surprises
A move with us covers six things: a free survey, packing and labelling, dismantling and reassembly, a covered truck with ramps and blankets, placement in your new home, and options like storage or furniture assembly.
Prices are confirmed at survey and written into your quote. A studio move runs from AED 700, a villa move from AED 2,200 up to AED 10,000+, and packing adds roughly 30–50% to the moving cost.

What Every Move Includes
One price covers the whole job — nothing is "extra" on arrival. Typical carton counts are built into your survey, so the box numbers below are a real planning guide, not marketing.
Free pre-move survey
On-site or by WhatsApp video. We walk every room, count items, note access, and confirm loading times with your building before quoting.
Packing materials
Cardboard boxes, tape, bubble wrap, wrapping paper, mattress covers, shrink wrap and blankets. A 2-bed flat usually needs 30–50 boxes; a 3-bed, 60–80.
Packing and labelling
Every box labelled by room, and fragile items marked and wrapped. Nothing goes on the truck until you've seen it sealed.
Dismantling
Wardrobes, beds, sofas, dining tables and wall units broken down properly — fittings kept in labelled bags. Reassembled the same way on the other side.
Floor and lift protection
Corridors, lifts and floors protected with sheets. We book the service lift with your building ahead of move day.
Transport
Covered truck with ramps, blankets and tie-downs. A typical 2-bed move runs 4–6 hours with a 3–4 man crew, quoted at survey.
Placement in your new home
Furniture and boxes go where you want them — not just "inside the door". We place by room as agreed on the survey.
Reassembly
Everything we took apart gets put back: beds, wardrobes, sofas, dining sets. Legs, knobs and screws go back where they belong.
Debris removal
Wrappings, shrink wrap and empty boxes are collected as we unpack. We leave both homes clean — no bags to chase after move day.
How Much Do Movers and Packers Cost in Dubai?
Below are the real bands we work in for a two-man-or-more local move, including truck, crew, packing materials, dismantling, reassembly and placement. Think of these as your range — the survey locks the number. All prices include VAT where applicable.

7 factors that change the price
Home size and inventory
Square footage, furniture count and volume of boxes drive most of the price. A two-bed with a lot of stuff can move like a three-bed.
Access at both ends
Ground floor, service lift size, corridor distance, parking distance to the entrance, and number of floors all affect crew time. More floors = more time.
Packing, disassembly and placement
Full packing adds roughly 30–50% on top of the moving price. Wardrobes that need to be dismantled in place (common in villas) add time.
Number of crew and hours
Crew size is matched to the job — more men, done faster. Standard moves run 3–6 hours; long hauls or large villas run longer.
Distance and tolls
Local Dubai moves usually stay in one truck run. Longer routes or multi-stop jobs can add to fuel and time.
Fragile and high-value items
Pianos, safes, pool tables and large gym equipment get specialist handling and often a dedicated crew member.
Building rules and timing
Some communities require enclosed vehicles or restrict truck access windows. Weekend and peak-season slots go fast — book early.
How we quote — three ways, one fixed number
On-site survey
- We visit, walk every room, measure access
- Count and price every item
- Written fixed quote — no hourly surprises
- Guaranteed on move day
Video survey
- WhatsApp video walkthrough of every room
- You read out items, we log them
- Written fixed quote within 24 hours
- Ideal for quick or long-distance bookings
Item list quote
- You send a detailed item list
- We return an estimated range
- Confirmed and fixed after survey
- Best as a starting point
We quote the first way whenever possible, the second when you're in a hurry, and the third as a starting point. Every final price is written down and locked.
What is never in a fixed quote
- Hidden "loading/unloading" surcharges
- Fuel surcharges
- Stair charges
- Elevator charges
- Long-carry charges
- Blanket or wrap "rental" fees
- Dismantling/reassembly surprises
- Permit fees
Permits, NOCs and Building Access
Most managed buildings in Dubai require a moving permit and proof of insurance before you move in or out. You can chase this yourself, but it slows everything down. We handle it end-to-end and coordinate directly with your building team.
Here's how the process works — and what we prepare for you:
Contact the community
Reach out to your building/community manager for their moving rules and forms.
Get the NOC form
Every community uses its own NOC — some online, some by email. We know the common ones.
Submit the request
Send the completed form with the right supporting documents for approval.
Get a permit / booking
Approval may come as a permit, a service lift booking, or both.
Schedule the lift
Reserve the service lift for your move window — weekends get booked fast.
We prepare this
Insurance certificate, company documents and the permit itself.
We coordinate this
Lift booking, moving hours and day-of access with building security.
Common developers and communities we deal with weekly
Some gated communities — Arabian Ranches, The Springs, Mirdif and similar — additionally require enclosed vehicles for furniture transport. We keep our covered trucks ready for exactly these cases.
Why a permit is worth sorting early (4 real reasons)
- A tower can refuse entry to crews without a permit
- No service lift booking = your crew walks 20 floors
- Parking is reserved for trucks only with an approved permit
- Delays push your move into peak hours and extra time
Moving Services in Dubai
Four ways we move you — each priced by a survey, each with a fixed written quote. Every service includes truck, crew, materials, dismantling, reassembly, permit handling and debris removal.
Apartment Moving
Studio, 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed apartments across every Dubai tower. We handle the permit, book the service lift slot, protect floors and corridors, and work within your building's approved moving hours.
- Service lift slot booked by us
- Works within approved moving hours
- Friday prayer blocks respected automatically
Villa Moving
Two-truck jobs for larger homes, garden furniture, and pieces that can't come apart. We prepare the community gate pass, use enclosed vehicles where required, and dismantle heavy wardrobes in place before the move.
- Two-truck jobs coordinated for big homes
- Community gate pass prepared
- Enclosed vehicles where communities require
Office Moving
Desks, chairs, partitions, filing, meeting rooms and server setups. We move offices after-hours or over a weekend so your team barely notices. Permits at both buildings, and your phone lines and fibre handled.
- After-hours and weekend scheduling
- Permits at both buildings
- Furniture, fibre and IT moved together
Furniture & Single Item Moving
A couch, a bed, a wardrobe, a piano or a gym machine — moved as one job with a fixed price. Great for online purchases, showroom deliveries and second-hand finds. We wrap, protect and deliver to your door.
- One item moved as a full job
- Fixed price agreed before we arrive
- Doorstep delivery, assembled if needed
Packing and Unpacking Services
Professional packing is the difference between a clean move and a stressful one. We wrap, box and label everything so it arrives ready to use.
We pack what you don't want to. Kitchen glass, wardrobes, electronics, art and mirrors all get proper wrapping — not newspaper. Every box is sealed, labelled by room, and logged on your inventory sheet.
- Room-by-room packing — kitchen, bedrooms, living areas in separate box colours and labels
- Fragile handling — bubble wrap, corner protectors and "FRAGILE" marking on every delicate box
- Electronics safe — anti-static wrapping, original boxes reused where possible
- Art and mirrors — double-wrapped with hard boards, transported upright
- Inventory sheet — every box logged, so nothing is lost between door A and door B

Furniture Assembly and Disassembly
Assembly is included in every move. Standalone assembly — new furniture from IKEA, Dubai mall showrooms or second-hand sellers — is priced per item or per hour.
What's included: assembly of beds, wardrobes, sofas, dining tables, office chairs, shelving and wall units — with all tools and hardware. What's extra: wall-mounting TVs (structural drilling), or repairs to damaged furniture.
Good to know: if we dismantled your furniture for the move, reassembly at the new home is included — no extra cost. You only pay for standalone assembly.
| Assembly service | Typical price |
|---|---|
| Simple assembly — fitted wardrobes, desks, beds | AED 60 – 100 per item |
| Medium assembly — wardrobes, storage units, sofa sets | AED 120 – 200 per item |
| Large assembly — kitchen units, TV units, 2×2 wardrobes | AED 250 – 450 per item |
| Bedroom set assembly | AED 500 – 750 per set |
| Handyman hourly rate | AED 75 – 150 / hour |
| Move with us? | Reassembly of your own furniture — included |
Bedroom sets
Flat-rate sets that cover bed, wardrobe and side tables assembled together in one visit.
Tools & hardware
We bring everything — screwdrivers, drivers, anchors and spare fittings for most common brands.
Home office
Desks, chairs, monitor arms and cable management assembled and set up for work the same day.
Storage in Dubai
Between tenancy handovers, renovating, or moving abroad for a few months — we store your goods safely. The first 7 days are free with any move.
Short-term storage — 1 week to 30 days. The first 7 days are free with a move; perfect for the gap between handover dates.
Long-term storage — 30 days to 12+ months. Goods stay in climate-controlled units, packed and labelled, with delivery back to your door on request.
| Unit size | Approx. contents | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| Small locker | 10–25 sq ft | AED 150 – 400 |
| Studio / 1-bed flat | 50 sq ft | AED 400 – 900 |
| 2-bed flat | 100 sq ft | AED 900 – 1,500 |
| 3-bed villa | 200 sq ft | AED 1,500 – 2,500 |
| 4-bed villa | 300 sq ft | AED 2,500 – 3,800 |
| Mover's warehouse | per cubic metre | AED 25 – 40 |
| Climate control | 18–25°C | +20 – 30% |
| First 7 days | with any move | Free |
Climate control
Dubai heat and humidity ruin electronics, wood, leather and documents. Our storage runs at a constant 18–25°C with humidity monitoring, so your furniture and keepsakes come out the way they went in.
What can't be stored
Gas cylinders, perishable food, live plants, weapons or ammunition, flammables, batteries, cash, jewellery, important documents, liquids and paint.
Photo inventory
Everything is photographed on the way in, so you know exactly what's stored and its condition.
Labelled and shelved
Units are packed, shelved and labelled for fast, accurate retrieval when you need something.
Delivery back
Need things back in a month or a year? We deliver to your new door on request.
When Should You Move in Dubai?
Timing a Dubai move is about leases, weather and Ramadan — here's how the year plays out so you can plan smart.
Lease cycle rules
Most Dubai tenancies renew in January and June–August, so those windows fill up fast. Booking even a week late can mean no crew available.
Summer = your discount
Fewer people move in July and August, so prices drop and schedules stay open. The cheapest and easiest time to book a mover.
Ramadan hours
Moving during Ramadan is possible — community working hours shrink and after-iftar moves are common. Book early for the short windows.
Day & time
Weekday mornings are the smoothest. Start early — most buildings want trucks out by midday, and Friday prayer breaks are respected automatically.
Book ahead
5–10 working days is comfortable; 2–3 weeks is wise in peak months. A few days' notice still works for most dates — ask us.
Areas We Cover in Dubai
From Downtown high-rises to Palm villas and the newer communities — if it's in Dubai, we move it.
City & Business
Villas & Communities
Beach & North
Don't see your community? We cover all of Dubai — call or WhatsApp and we'll confirm your area. Gated communities may require enclosed vehicles; our covered trucks are ready for them.
Who Handles Your Move
The same people who survey your home are the people who show up on move day. No subcontracting, no surprise faces.
Your move manager
One person handles your survey, timeline, permit and day-of calls. You always know who to reach.
Our own crew
Trained, uniformed and background-checked movers — employees, not day-labourers or subcontractors.
Licensed & insured
DED trade licence and municipality permit. Insurance certificate issued to your building before every move.
Crew size — matched to the job
Two movers — light moves
Studios and single-item jobs up to 2 hours. Budget-friendly for smaller loads.
Three movers — most flat moves
The standard for 1–3 bed apartments. Covers truck, lift and corridors efficiently in 3–4 hours.
Four movers — villas & offices
Large homes and offices where furniture needs dismantling, two trucks or a fast turnaround — typically 4–6 hours.
Example: a 2-bed flat on the ground floor with light furniture may move with two movers in 3 hours — while the same flat on the 18th floor with wardrobes to dismantle needs three movers and closer to 5. Your survey settles it.
What if something is damaged? The honest process
Damage claims — what's not covered
- Liquids leaking from sealed containers (check before boxing)
- Items already damaged before the move (photo them first)
- Cash, jewellery or documents packed in boxes
- Uninsured high-value items above declared cover

Movers and Packers Dubai — FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we hear every day.
For a local move with our truck, crew, materials and dismantling: studio AED 700–1,200, 1-bed AED 900–1,800, 2-bed AED 1,300–2,800, 3-bed villa AED 3,000–5,000. Full packing adds roughly 30–50%. Every price is fixed at survey and written down.
Partial packing runs AED 400–900, full-home packing AED 500–7,000, and materials for a 2-bed flat cost AED 800–1,500. You can also buy boxes only and self-pack.
Simple items (beds, desks) run AED 60–100 each, medium (wardrobes, sofa sets) AED 120–200, large (kitchen units, 2×2 wardrobes) AED 250–450, and bedroom sets AED 500–750. If we dismantled your furniture, reassembly is free.
Small lockers from AED 150/month, a 2-bed flat's contents about AED 900–1,500/month, and a 3-bed villa's about AED 1,500–2,500/month. Climate control adds 20–30%, and the first 7 days are free with any move.
Short-term is 1 week to 30 days — ideal for the gap between handover dates. Long-term is 30 days to 12+ months, usually in a dedicated climate-controlled unit with delivery back to your door on request.
Most managed buildings and communities require a moving permit or NOC plus proof of insurance. We prepare the NOC, permit and insurance certificate, and book your service lift slot for you.
Typically a trade licence, valid insurance certificate, crew details, and vehicle registration. We send everything to your building manager before move day.
No. The permit approves the move itself; the lift booking reserves the service lift for your time window. We handle both — they're connected but separate.
Ejari (your tenancy contract registration) and DEWA transfer are landlord/tenant tasks, not mover requirements. We just need to know the new address so your crew goes to the right building.
5–10 working days is comfortable; 2–3 weeks is wise in peak months (January, June–August). A few days' notice still works for most dates — ask us and we'll check.
July and August. Fewer people move in summer, so prices drop and schedules stay open. Weekday mornings are also cheaper and smoother than weekends.
Honestly, we'd rather not — for you and the crew. We recommend early starts or evening moves in summer to avoid the heat, but the final call is yours.
Yes — it's included in every move. Wardrobes, beds, sofas and wall units are broken down, fittings bagged and labelled, and reassembled at your new home.
Yes. Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, wrapping paper, shrink wrap and blankets are all included in the move, or sold separately if you self-pack.
A 2-bed flat usually needs 30–50 boxes, a 3-bed 60–80, plus wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes. Your survey includes a box count so you order the right amount.
We can't move or store gas cylinders, flammables, weapons, ammunition, perishable food, live plants, cash, jewellery, documents, liquids or paint. For plants, ask us — some removals can handle potted plants short distances.
Photo anything at drop-off with the crew present, then send it to us within 3/10 days. Claims are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 14 days — repair, replacement or payout in writing.
From AED 1,500 for small setups to AED 25,000–90,000+ for full-floor corporate moves. Office moves are surveyed at both ends and scheduled after-hours to protect your business.
Yes, but building rules vary. Most communities restrict moving hours on Fridays (especially around prayers) and public holidays. We check with your building and schedule within their allowed windows.
